Correcting 'Cattywampus'

Another use for the 'Rotate' tool is for when your viewers are likely to get vertigo looking at your shots, like the example below...

In today's competitive market, it will pay to take the time to correct small issues like this one. Even though this photo shows the room well (in this case the salon of a boat), don't discount the distraction that a 'virtual slope' conveys to the viewer.
The tool used for this correction was again the 'Rotate Canvas' tool, found in my program under the 'Image' drop down menu. This time I selected 'Arbitrary' rotation, and was able to put in a numeric figure (I selected '2' to correct this slope) along with checking the 'clockwise' box.
After that, I needed to use the 'Crop' tool to crop out the center portion of the photo. Then I resized it to my preferred 100 resolution and 5" (or 6") wide print size standard so that all of my photos are uniform in size.

NOTE: For those interested, I did additionally use the 'Levels' tool to bring up the light level in the mid-range, and used 'Color Balance' to adjust some of the red out of the high end as well...
